This is a truly extraordinary black tea with surprisingly unusual roasted notes!
This is a very special and extremely rare black tea. It comes from a small plantation in the western Himalayas at an altitude of between 1600 and 2000 metres above sea level. The majestic rivers pour down from the mountain bringing melted water from the peaks down to the plantation. This, along with the fertile land and the favourable weather conditions, guarantees several top-quality harvests a year.
And that is not all. Other factors contribute to this tea's distinctive character. The secret also lies in the fact that native Nepalese and nearby Darjeeling cultivars are not the only ones to grow in this area. Other cultivars, obtained from more distant places, such as Japan and Taiwan, also grow here. The great diversity of cultivars, combined with the mastery of the producers and the fusion of different methods of tea manufacture, is what yields a magical, unique and sophisticated drink.
